Volunteering at the Netley Day Centre
We have received the following plea -
"My name is Amy and I am one of the nursing assistants at the Netley day therapy Centre, here at the Highland Hospice. We currently provide day services to patients two days a week who are terminally ill or/and undergoing treatment. Many of them are still living at home and pop into see us weekly.  As part of our service we provide an art therapy room where patients can experiment with paint such as watercolour, and crafts. This is a very popular and therapeutic activity and can be beneficial  in many different ways. Netley is becoming very busy and our need for willing volunteers has increased. I am hoping to find some artists who would be willing to give up their time a couple of hours every other week to help teach/coordinate an art session with the patients? It would be very informal and  If you could help me in any way that would be great!  Contact A.Morrison@highlandhospice.org.uk
