Watercolour workshop at Killearnan Church Hall,
DATE CHANGED to Saturday 30th September from 10:00 - 16:00.
The workshop is “Magic of the Medium” focusing on basics and is a watercolour workshop with Sheree Young who is one of our members.
LOVE the idea of watercolours? Too afraid to try? Intimidated by the white paper? Overwhelmed by all the supplies and what do with them? Frustrated with brown mud? Wanting to learn more, but books just don’t seem exciting?
Bring along your watercolour tubes/pans & supplies, and join Sheree, as we have fun, creating some cheat sheets to help you, discovering different surfaces, and learning how to keep colours fresh and bright whilst painting simple images. Sheree will demo as you then discover the magic of the medium for yourself. Designed for those wanting to discover watercolours. No expectations, no judgement, just encouragement and creativity through fun.
Sheree Young is a self taught contemporary watercolour artist, learning whilst enjoying herself. She has taught workshops many times before and enjoys encouraging others to try the medium.
Join the journey of discovery.
