Christmas Exhibition and Market Opportunity

ASI Market Stall at WASPS Christmas Fair

We are very happy to confirm that the Society has space at the WASPS Christmas Fair on 27th and 28th November for displaying and selling members' artworks.  The fair runs from 10:00 to 16:00 on both days.

There will be no charge for including your work on the stalls and there will be no commission charged on any sales.

You can have two paintings displayed.  These must be no more than 12" by 12" as measured on the outside of the frame or block canvas.  The paintings must be strung so that they can be hung.

Framed painting must also be taped and it would be ideal if you can use white or pale frames.  Deep box frames are acceptable.  Box canvases must also be neatly finished and strung.

All paintings MUST have your name and the price stuck securely to the rear of the painting along with the title and medium.

You can provide up to 50 cards for sale.  These must be cellophane wrapped and each must be priced in units of 50p and you must provide a list of the number of cards at each price (eg 25 at ££2.00 and 25 at £2.50) and with your name on it.  They must be in a box as we will not have space for display stands.

How to let us have your paintings and cards

The easiest way is to come along to the AGM at King's Factory, Smithton at 2:00 pm on Saturday 20th November.

Alternatively, you can drop them off at Jackie Thomson's home up to Thursday 25th November at 18 Cullaird Road, Lochardil, Inverness , IV2 4DL.  She will leave boxes in her garage for them.

We are sorry but we will not be able to take in paintings or cards on the day of the fair as we will only have limited time to set up the stalls.  There will also be other crafters busy setting up their stalls before the fair opens.

Collection of unsold paintings and cards

We are sorry but we will not be able to return any unsold paintings or cards at the end of the second day.  This is because we will need to reconcile payments received with the remaining paintings and cards as well as having to clear the stalls as quickly as possible.  There will also be other sellers needing to clear their stalls and load their vehicles.

We will let everyone know the collection details for unsold items at a later date.

If you have any queries, then please contact Kevin O'Niell.
