THE ART SOCIETY OF INVERNESS
This year, 2014, the Art Society of Inverness celebrates its 70th anniversary. Over the years the Art Society has continued to provide all kinds of opportunities to artists, aspiring artists and those just interested in the visual arts. Our activities include classes, workshops, talks, demonstrations, trips, exhibitions and of course social events. Our membership exceeds 300, making the Art Society of Inverness one of the largest in the country. Members come from all over the Highlands and beyond, and include a wide spectrum of artists, from professionals to leisure painters.
This website is for members and non-members alike. Please use the menu on the left to find out what we do and what is going on. You can also see the work of some of our members on the Gallery page.
Art Society member Laura Anne Middlemiss has an exhibition of her work at the Greig Street Gallery, Inverness, in November. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
