displaying art Hi, My dad was an artist and unfortunately he passed away last November but I was wondering if there was anyway to get some of his work seen wasn't sure how to go about it? It is lovely that he has left artwork for people to enjoy and to remember him by and I understand your desire to display his pictures. Was he a member of the art society? Did he live locally? If you leave me his and your details I can forward them onto the committee to discuss at the next meeting. Hopefully they will be able to come up with some ideas which may help you. Unfortunately it was late in the day and my memory of the picture isn't very good. However, I think it was done by someone in Orkney and it was a picture of standing stones done in very vibrant colours of red, purples and blues. It had a dark brown 3D type frame and was selling for around £80. Are you away of the picture I am talking of and can I get in contact with the seller to buy it? Thank you. The artist will be happy to produce a similar painting if you wish and I have passed her contact details onto you. Hope this helps.
