The Art Society of Inverness
The Art Society of Inverness was founded 80 years ago and currently has over 200 members; it brings together professionals, semi-professional artists, and those with an interest in art from all over the Highlands. It provides a wide range of activities and opportunities, from talks and beginners classes, to regular evening classes, workshops and exhibitions. This website is intended for both members and non-members, so please explore it through the menus above to find out more.
Some of our activities are illustrated below, followed by news about recent and upcoming events. Recent news can also be found on our Facebook Site here.
Our 80th Anniversary Celebrations were held at North Kessock in July 2024 and some photos of the event can be seen here.
The society is always keen to welcome new members of all levels of experience and ability. An outline of the many benefits of joining can be found on the Membership page.
